Rosterio for developers

Describe the app you want. Get it running on Rosterio.

AI app builders like Lovable, Base44, v0 and Bolt turn a plain-English description into a working app. Point one at Rosterio and you get any screen, report or integration you can describe, on the same API our own apps use. Prefer to write the code yourself? That works too. Either way, the award rules come with it.

Why it's safe to let anyone build

The rules live in Rosterio, not in your screen.

Your app can look however you like and still can't roster someone into an award breach, approve leave it isn't allowed to, or show pay to someone who shouldn't see it. Rosterio checks every request the same way it checks our own apps.

From idea to working screen

Three steps, no sales call.

  1. Request a sandbox

We set you up with a practice business full of sample staff and rosters. Nothing you do there emails or texts anyone.

  2. Paste the prompt into your builder

Copy the prompt below into Lovable, Base44, v0 or Bolt, then change it to describe the screen you want.

  3. Point it at your business

When it works, a System Admin connects it to your real account. Same code, real roster.

Build a full-screen wallboard for a TV in our kitchen, on the Rosterio API with Sign in with Rosterio. Show everyone on shift right now at the Bondi store with their role and finish time, who is on break, and who starts in the next two hours. Refresh every minute. Large text, readable from 3 metres. Use only the roster:read permission.

What it costs

The sandbox is free on request, and Starter and Pro include the API. Ask us and we switch it on for your business. Need only the API, without the Rosterio apps? The API plan is $4 per user per month, and you can start it yourself. The allowance is 100,000 calls a month plus 2,000 per user. Extra calls are planned at $5 per 100,000. We do not charge for extra calls yet. We will tell you before we start.

Build the screen you've always wanted.
